Regal Rexnord Cleveland home of our Nook Brand is currently hiring Manual Manual Grinder

Starting pay range of $26.00-$30.00/hour

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up manual grinder machinery.
• Operate manual grinder machinery upholding and adhering to production standards and ISO 9001 regulations and guidelines.
• Inspect product to print looking for any flaws and defect of material including deburring if necessary.
• Move completed material to next workstation.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment.
• Daily verbal communication with employees regarding work schedules and jobs. Written and verbal communication with management as needed.
• Work independently and as a team member.

Education & Experience

• One year certificate from college or technical school preferred.
• Minimum experience required is 1-3 years

Specific Skills & Knowledge:

• Ability to interpret and understand verbal and written directions.
• Mechanically inclined with strong math skills.
• Ability to read basic measuring devices including micrometers and calipers. Working knowledge of surface footage and feed rates and experienced in calculating feeds and speeds.
• Must be able to set up the grinder
• Must successfully complete a blueprint reading course.
• Must be able to hold tolerances of /- .0002.
• Knowledge of a Cincinnati manual grinder a plus.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.
