About the Role:
Triunity Software is looking for a talented Mainframe Developer to join our growing team in New York City NY! This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge legacy modernization and enterprise-level systems with a company that values technical excellence. Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL JCL and related technologies
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex mainframe systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable mainframe solutions
- Perform code reviews unit testing and debugging of mainframe programs
- Support batch processing job scheduling and mainframe infrastructure operations
- Participate in system migrations upgrades and legacy modernization initiatives
- Document technical specifications workflows and system changes
Requirements:
- Proven experience in mainframe development with proficiency in COBOL JCL and VSAM
- Familiarity with IBM z/OS mainframe environments and tools such as ISPF and SDSF
- Experience with DB2 IMS or CICS is a strong plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills for interfacing with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or equivalent experience
Compensation: $100000.00 - $110000.00 per year
