Description
The Manager-Therapy Services is responsible for management and oversight of day to day operations. This position will contribute to the strategic development and implementation of programs tied to growth opportunities within Baptist Health Care and Andrews Institute branded rehab services. This position provides specific attention to the daily operations and productivity of the clinic. This position will align the rehabilitation initiatives to better improve our brand awareness and profitability for Andrews Institute branded rehab services as well as Baptist Health Care. This position will have patient care responsibilities in addition to management duties. The amount of time spent in each is determined by the size of the clinic/department managed.
Responsibilities
Manage team members which include orientation development and evaluation of personnel and monitoring the provision of delivering quality services. Participates in the recruiting interviewing and selecting of team members following policies guidelines and applicable laws. Evaluates their performance relative to job goals and requirements. Provides coaching to staff recommends in-service education programs and ensures adherence to internal policies and responsible for the fiscal management of department; assures proper utilization of organizations financial responsible for departments operational excellence; ensures department delivers quality services in accordance with applicable policies procedures and professional communicates departmental organization and industry information to evaluations of assigned patients in accordance with the established standards of care and and provides treatment to assigned patients as appropriate in accordance with established standards of care and patient care with other clinical team members ensuring optimal patient care and communication as noted in the clinical the treatment activities of PTAs and all required paperwork following Physical Therapy department policies and procedures to ensure that documentation reflects care provided and the outcomes achieved as evidenced in the clinical and enhances personal knowledge as well as promoting professional standards in therapy in other duties as assigned to support the operational needs of the department and be required to remain on campus immediately before during and after severe weather and/or disasters.
