About the Role

A full-service accounting firm in Garden Grove CA is hiring a Tax & Accounting Manager to oversee workflow review deliverables manage client relationships and develop staff. The firm serves a wide array of domestic and international clients and is integrating AI and automation to focus on higher-value advisory work. This is a leadership role working closely with partners on reviews client advisory strategic tax planning and firm-wide processes.



Requirements

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and oversee workflow for tax preparation compilations and accounting projects.

- Perform final reviews of business and individual tax returns and financial statements.

- Manage client relationships providing direct consultation and strategic tax planning.

- Lead mentorship ongoing training and professional development of staff and senior accountants.

- Work closely with partners on business development billing and firm-wide process implementation.

- Lead due diligence agreed-upon procedure projects and complex government notice resolutions.


Required Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Accounting Economics or Finance.

- Minimum 5-7 years of public accounting experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.

- Highly proficient with Lacerte and QuickBooks.

- Exceptional ability to manage multiple engagements meet strict deadlines and delegate effectively.

- Superior interpersonal and communication skills for client advisory and team management.

- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel).

- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.

- Must be able to work overtime during busy season (February-April August-October) and as needed.


Preferred Qualifications

- CPA license (highly preferred).

- Bilingual (English and Korean).

- EA or other relevant professional credentials.

- Salary: $100000 - $150000 per year.

Location & Schedule

- Onsite in Garden Grove CA.

- Full-time. Overtime expected during busy seasons (Feb-Apr Aug-Oct).
