Job Summary

The Amazon Leo Supply Chain team is looking for a Systems Manager to partner closely with various functions across the silicon teams and the wider Amazon organization to develop systems software and AI solutions specific to silicon operations. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record developing and delivering system integration.

Amazon Leo is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Amazon Leo will help close the digital divide by delivering fast affordable broadband to a wide range of customers including consumers businesses government agencies and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.

Export Control Requirement:

Key job responsibilities


- Lead end-to-end program management for large-scale productivity and system implementation initiatives from conception through delivery and operations
- Define program vision strategy and roadmaps that align with business objectives and technical capabilities
- Maintain existing systems to ensure minimal downtime
- Drive cross-functional alignment across engineering operations manufacturing supply chain and business teams
- Architect and implement infrastructure solutions that support visibility and predictive analytics in the manufacturing processes at Suppliers
- Ensure system & solution stack reliability scalability and security across distributed manufacturing environments at various suppliers
- Drive continuous improvement programs leveraging AI for process optimization yield improvement and defect reduction
- Communicate complex technical concepts and program status to diverse audiences including executives and non-technical stakeholders
- Influence without authority to achieve program objectives

- 5 years of people management experience
- 5 years of technical program management experience
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science or a related technical field
- Experience managing efforts in Unix/Linux environments distributed systems or developing large-scale web applications

- Knowledge of the AWS product suite
- Knowledge of data center infrastructure design operations or delivery
- Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences including executive level stakeholders or clients
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience with Agile or other program management methodologies

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
