Abbott Vascular provides innovative minimally invasive and cost-effective products for treatment of vascular disease.

MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE

Primary Job Function

Thepositionisresponsibleformaximizingproductavailabilitywhileoptimizinginventoryoverthelongterm &Dmarketingcustomerserviceandother supplyrisksanduncertaintyandplansmitigationtorespondtodynamicbusinessconditions.

• Strategy:Collaboratewithbusinessunits&externalthirdpartyproviderstoidentifyanddocumentkey assumptionsthatcouldimpactthesupplynetworkanddevelopstrategiesfor efficientresponsetochanges.

• Performance:Providesguidanceanddirectiontoteammatestoensureconsistentexecutiontoand escalationofdeviationsfromagreedstrategies.

• Financial:AccurateprojectionandreductionofDistressedInventory(Excess&Obsolescence).Develops plansforPlanLBEandLRPpackages.

• Service:Maximizingcustomerexperiencethroughproductavailability.

• Inventory:ReductionofAVinventorytoreducecapitalStandardsRevisionVariance(SRV)and distressedInventoryimpactontheAVP&L. Analysis:Developstoolstotestthecostflexibilityandefficiencyofthenetwork.

Accountability / Scope

• ReportstoSr Supply Chain Manager and will be managing anassignedscopeofproducts and manufacturing site(s).

• RepresentsSupplyinterestsduringnewproductintroductionandthe life cycle management of the product.

• Collaborateswiththedemandplanningteamto align on a monthly forecast andidentifypotential what-if scenarios.

• InfluencestheAVmanufacturingsitesThirdPartyprovidersandDistributionCentersupply teams.

• InteractswiththeMarketingandCommercialteamsforinventoryreductionanddeliveryofcustomer serviceexpectations.

• LeadsthereductionofAVinventorythroughout the entire supply chain network.

• Plansandorganizesprojectassignmentsofsubstantialcomplexityandstrategicimpacttoorganization

Minimum Education

• Bachelordegree(EngineeringSupplyChainorBusinessManagement) or combination experience and education in related work background.

• MBApreferred

• SupplyChainandProjectManagementcertificationspreferred

Minimum Experience / Training Required

• Minimumof8yearsofrelatedworkexperience

• Supply Chain experience is required.

• SAP

• Medical Device experience preferred but not required.

• Thispositionrequiresexcellentleadershipproblemsolvingnegotiatingandgeneralpeopleskills

• Excellentwrittenandoralcommunicationsskillswithparticularattentiontodetail.

• ProficientwithMSExcelandPowerPointandpresentingtoexecutiveleadership
