âProcess Optimization & Innovation: Optimize yield and reduce energy consumption using Lean/Six Sigma principles. Champion advanced technology adoption like AI/ML for predictive maintenance digital twins and robotics.
âSafety & Sustainability: Cultivate a strong safety-first culture and drive facility decarbonization emissions compliance and circular economy practices.
âCost & Budget Control: Adhere to operational budgets identify cost-reduction opportunities and monitor raw material usage against MBP targets through variance analysis.
âTeam Leadership: Recruit train and mentor production supervisors and operators while managing labor relations in partnership with HR.
âCross-Departmental Collaboration: Serve as a central liaison between Procurement LMF-VTD Caster and Refractory teams to optimize shop-wide throughput.
âKey Performance Indicators Youll Drive:
âProduction Volume & Schedule: Liquid steel tons (LST) plan vs. target adherence operating rates and on-time delivery.
âYield & Efficiency: Overall yield (raw material to finished product) specific process yields (EAF LF Caster Refractory) and throughput (Tons/Hour).
âCost & Asset Management: Cost per ton of steel produced and capacity utilization rate
