We are seeking a Sales Engineering Manager to lead and support a small team of Sales Engineers within the this role you will focus onhandsoncoaching supportingpresalesexecution andassistingthe team on complex customer opportunities. You will play a key role in helping customers successfully evaluate and adopt Cohesitys data security and management solutions while developing your leadership capability and supporting strong sales outcomes throughhighqualitytechnical engagement.

HOW YOULL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE:

  • Lead coach and develop a team of Sales Engineers supporting their technical development customer engagement skills and execution throughout the sales cycle.

  • Partner closely with Sales Managersto support new customer opportunities providinghandsontechnical guidance and ensuringhighqualitypresalessupport across assigned territories.

  • Support customer engagements across Cohesitys Data Cloud portfolio including backup recovery cyber resilience and data security ensuring solutions align with customer technical and business requirements.

  • Assist with RFPs RFIs proposals and deal support ensuringtimelyaccurate andwellpositionedtechnical responses in collaboration with Sales and Partners.

  • Support customer and partner conversations related to secondary storage and data protection use cases helping position Cohesity as a strong solution for modern data security needs.

  • Ensure consistent delivery of product demonstrations technical workshops and proofs of concept supporting SEs indemonstratingboth product capabilities and customer value.

  • Identifytechnical challenges duringpresalesand early customer engagements escalating and collaborating with Sales Product Engineering and Support teams to drive resolution.

  • Providehandsoncoaching and guidance to Sales Engineers during complex deals customer meetings and evaluations acting as a point of escalation when needed.

WED LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING:

  • Experience supporting SLED environments including working with publicsector IT security and infrastructure teams and responding to structured RFP/RFI processes and budgetdriven buying cycles.
  • Experience partnering with Information Security IT or Infrastructure teams with a solid understanding of enterprise security concepts compliance considerations and customer risk requirements.

  • Prior experience managing or mentoringSales Engineers orserving as a technical team lead withinpresales infrastructure data protection or security environments.

  • Strong technical foundation in enterprise data protection backup and recovery or cyber resilience technologies.

  • Demonstrated ability to coach and develop technical talent improving skills confidence and customer effectiveness.

  • Working knowledge ofonpremises hybrid and cloud environments and how modern data management solutions integrate within them.

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Mathematics or a related field or equivalent practical experience.

  • Security certifications (e.g. CISSP CISA CISM) are aplus butnot.

  • Demonstrated ability toleverageAI tools to enhance productivity streamline workflows and support decision making.

  • Strong communicationskills in spoken and written English.

  • Willingness to travel asto support customers partners and team needs.

Disclosure Pursuant to Applicable State Equal Pay Transparency Laws - This position has a starting pay range as listed below. Actual salary depends upon many factors including a candidates skills qualifications and experience location and salary expectations and therefore a starting salary at the low end high end or even above the stated range may be offered. This position may also be eligible for bonus compensation commission (if in a sales function) and/or equity grants. Additionally full-time employees are eligible to participate in ourcomprehensive benefits framework including health and wellness benefits vacation paid holidays and refresh days 401(k) retirement plan life and disability insurance coverages and other benefits the Company may offer from time to time.

Pay Range :

$237600.00-$264000.00

The compensation noted above is based on an annualized hourly rate assuming normal full-time employment.

Current pay transparency shows the OTE (On-Target Earnings) for commission-based roles.

In-Office Expectations
