Job Summary

To be successful in this role you will bring:

  • Leading and managing project procurement activities to ensure materials equipment supplies and services are delivered in alignment with project scope budget quality requirements and schedules.
  • Developing and executing procurement strategies plans procedures and priorities that support project objectives and broader business goals.
  • Leading coordinating and providing technical guidance to procurement personnel including assigning work reviewing deliverables and supporting team development.
  • Partnering with engineering project management construction contracts logistics expediting quality and other stakeholders to align procurement activities with project requirements.
  • Overseeing supplier performance engineering documentation procurement progress manufacturing schedules and delivery commitments while identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  • Resolving complex technical commercial quality schedule and supplier-related issues using sound business judgment and practical problem-solving skills.
  • Preparing reviewing and communicating procurement reports forecasts schedules performance metrics risks and project status updates to project leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Applying advanced knowledge of procurement systems processes tools and controls to improve efficiency strengthen project performance and support continuous improvement.
  • Serving as a procurement subject matter expert by providing technical consultation guidance and effective solutions to project teams and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensuring procurement activities comply with Worley policies project procedures contractual requirements ethical standards and applicable regulations while supporting a strong safety culture.

Purpose of the role

Play an integral role in leading and delivering project procurement activities that support the successful execution of complex projects. As Manager Project Procurement you will provide strategic and technical leadership across the procurement lifecycle while ensuring materials equipment supplies and services are delivered in alignment with project requirements commercial objectives budgets quality expectations and schedules.

You will be responsible for leading procurement teams coordinating closely with engineering project management suppliers and other key stakeholders and applying sound commercial and technical judgment to resolve complex procurement challenges. You will help strengthen procurement capability improve project outcomes and support Worleys commitment to delivering sustainable solutions for our customers.
