Manager, Product Sourcing Engineering

VDS is recruiting a sourcing leader for a defense-technology company standing up high-rate production of an air-vehicle family at a new manufacturing campus. You will build and lead the team that secures every part the line needs.

What youll do

• Lead a team of product sourcing engineers and subcontract managers.
• Set supply strategy for continuity quality cost and scale-up.
• Negotiate supplier agreements and resolve trade-offs with engineering program and finance.
• Reduce bill-of-materials complexity and supplier count.
• Manage capital spend new product introduction and tariff exposure.

What you bring

• 8 years in manufacturing supply chain or production including 5 years leading people.
• A bachelors in supply chain engineering or a related field; MBA or MS preferred.
• Clear communication from the shop floor to executives.

Nice to have

• Defense aerospace or automotive production experience.
• Leading large teams while staying hands-on.
