Job Description:

DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a(n) Manager Product Group Engineering located in Raynham MA or West Chester PA or Palm Beach Gardens FL or Warsaw IN or Raritan NJ.

Job Overview

The Manager Product Group Engineering leads a team of technology and product engineers responsible for the design development integration and lifecycle management of digital and technology solutions supporting DePuy Synthes R&D and product platforms. This role partners closely with R&D Quality Regulatory and Business stakeholders to deliver scalable compliant and highimpact technology solutions that enable innovation speed to market and operational excellence. This is a peopleleader role with both technical depth and strong crossfunctional influence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of product group engineers responsible for delivering technology solutions across R&D and product platforms ensuring alignment to business and technology strategies.

• Own the endtoend engineering lifecycle including requirements definition solution design development testing deployment and ongoing support of productaligned technology solutions.

• Partner with Product Management R&D Quality Regulatory and IT stakeholders to translate business and scientific needs into scalable secure and compliant technical solutions.

• Ensure engineering practices adhere to applicable regulatory quality cybersecurity and data privacy requirements relevant to medical technology and R&D environments.

• Drive engineering excellence through standardized processes design reviews documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Manage delivery commitments resource planning budgets and vendor relationships to meet timelines cost and quality objectives.

• Provide technical guidance coaching and performance management to team members fostering a culture of accountability collaboration and innovation.

• Communicate progress risks and outcomes to leadership and proactively escalate issues that may impact delivery or compliance.

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelors degree required in Engineering Computer Science Information Systems or a related technical discipline.

• Masters degree preferred.

Experience and Skills

Required:

• 68 years of progressive experience in software systems or product engineering within regulated or complex technology environments.

• Handson experience with modern software development practices system integration and product lifecycle management technologies.

• Working knowledge of SDLC agile and/or hybrid delivery models and engineering quality controls.

• Demonstrated ability to translate business and R&D requirements into technical solutions that deliver measurable value.

• Experience managing budgets timelines and competing priorities in a matrixed organization.

• Proven peoplemanagement experience including coaching performance management and team development.

• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence without authority and drive alignment across functions.

Preferred:

• Experience supporting R&D product development or medical device technology platforms.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms data platforms and enterprise integration patterns.

• Experience working in a regulated industry (medical devices life sciences or healthcare).

• Ability to balance innovation with compliance risk management and operational stability.

• Experience leading through change and driving adoption of new technologies or processes.

• Demonstrated commitment to inclusive leadership and building diverse highperforming teams.

Other:

• English proficiency required.

• Travel: Up to 1020% primarily domestic.

• Certifications (Agile Cloud or Engineering management) preferred but not required.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

102000.00 - 204000.00 USD Annual
