MANAGER OFFICE OPERATIONS AND CASE MANAGEMENT Institute Discrimination and Harassment Response Office to serve as the Institutes case management specialist for complaints of discrimination or harassment based on an individuals race color sex sexual orientation gender identity religion disability age genetic information veteran status or national or ethnic origin involving any member of the MIT community. The Manager will meet with impacted individuals to ensure that community members understand available resources reporting options and resolution pathways based on the desired outcome of the impacted person and the safety needs of the community. The Manager will document reported allegations and next steps facilitate supportive measures make appropriate referrals and help coordinate the resources needed for informal resolutions. The Manager supervises staff on the Case Management Team and is also a member of the Offices leadership team and will collaborate with the Director and other managers in strategic decision-making.

Job Requirements
REQUIRED: Bachelors degree in related field including but not limited to student affairs higher education administration social work and/or psychology; a minimum of five years of relevant professional experience preferably in the area of case management civil rights compliance or investigations; experience exercising discretion and sound judgment in rapidly changing circumstances; demonstrated ability to build respectful relationships with others in a diverse community of students staff and faculty; and an ability to take initiative and organize prioritize and carry out detailed work under time constraints.
