Job Summary

The Manager of Global Print Expenses is a strategic finance role responsible for managing and overseeing the expenses and capital investment for the Global Print division. This position requires a partnership with multiple departments including revenue management accounting and the business unit to ensure effective cost control and financial support in decision-making processes.

About the Role

In this opportunity as Manager of Global Print Expenses you will be responsible for:

  • Financial Oversight: Direct the management of the P&L for Global Print expenses ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and metrics to support business decisions. Oversee the monthly close process highlighting expense variance drivers and ensuring capital controls are in place.
  • Forecasting and Planning: Lead the quarterly forecast process and annual planning providing insights on potential risks and opportunities. Collaborate with stakeholders to manage financial forecasts and contribute to strategic planning efforts.
  • Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models for capital business cases within the Global Print division presenting findings and recommendations to leadership for approval.
  • Operational Controls: Manage monthly Plant controls including the establishment of new work centers updating of CAPP rates machine rate adjustments and the monitoring of control reports.
  • Partnership and Collaboration: Work closely with accounting teams to maintain strong financial controls forecast balance sheet accounts and drive process improvements. Act as a finance partner to the Global Print business providing ad hoc analysis on expenses and supporting requests from the business to the correct areas within the company.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Manage the reporting process related to Labor Materials and Transportation costs ensuring clear communication to the business. Provide ad hoc financial analysis as required by the Global Print division.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of three finance professionals fostering their development and growth. Mentor team members and support their career progression within the organization.

About You

Youre a fit for the role of Manager of Global Print Expenses if your background includes

  • Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management with a strong background in expense control and capital planning.
  • Proficient in financial modeling and analysis.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to partner effectively across departments.
  • Experience with financial systems and accounting software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations. For any eligible US locations unless otherwise noted the base compensation range for this role is $100100 USD - $185900 USD. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individuals knowledge skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
