Job Summary

We are seeking Manager Demand Planning to join our North America Supply Chain team. The role will be based in person (Hybrid) at our Princeton NJ office

Responsibilities:

  • Review historical sales trends research demand drivers prepare forecast data integrate statistical forecast models and evaluate forecast results
  • Coordinate between cross-functional teams to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions.
  • Interact with sales marketing and finance teams to understand demand forecast drivers
  • Develop demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function
  • Generate a consensus forecast by working with Sales Marketing and Finance to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts.
  • Provide input to the Supply Planning organization in developing inventory strategies on existing items new products and product phase-outs
  • Closely coordinate and communicate customer action plans with supply planning
  • Conduct Monthly Meetings with Customers
  • Prepare and provide status updates to the Planning Head in all review meetings
  • Identify areas of improvement while continuing to assist in risk assessment and mitigation activities
  • Interact regularly with global supply chain teams to ensure alignment in priorities
  • Special project when identified or requested automation of existing process data management for FTS Co-ordinate and prepare data for monthly S&OP.
  • Identify the key molecules which affected the forecast accuracy & publish the results on monthly basis.
  • Implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy to achieve targets agreed with management
  • Maintain Database for the reports like Forecast Accuracy Forecast Bias Forecast Fidelity New Business Bids Data for S&OP etc.
  • Provide support in developing seasonal demand forecasts along with customers promotional event volumes.
  • Collate data from Bids RFP OTBs & Customers Event / promotions use it for demand generation.
  • Integrate demand volumes with latest estimate volumes and value to arrive to sale value for rolling 18-24 months.
  • Complete special projects and assignments as requested.
  • Leverage emerging AI capabilities to identify opportunities for process automation improve demand planning analysis and insights and enhance forecasting a decision-making efficiency.

Qualifications :

Education: Bachelors / Masters Degree in Business Supply chain or other relevant fields
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience for Master and 7 years of experience for Bachelor degree with relevant experience in a demand planning/forecasting/supply planning role.

Attributes & Skills :

  • Capability to work with large datasets and develop diagnostic predictive and prescriptive analytics models
  • MS Office knowledge is must
