Position Overview
Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer and dotted line to Chief Human Resources Officer the Manager Internal Communications will establish and lead a centralized internal communications function that informs aligns and engages employees across the firm.
This role will define and own the firms internal narrative ensuring consistent messaging clear prioritization of initiatives and disciplined communication that supports execution of strategic priorities (e.g. culture and people transformation programs AI CRM and enterprise initiatives). The Manager will work closely with Marketing Human Capital and senior leadership to create a cohesive firmwide communications model.
Responsibilities
1. Internal Communications Strategy & Narrative
- Define and lead a firmwide internal communications strategy aligned with business priorities and transformation initiatives
- Establish a clear and consistent firm story ensuring employees understand both strategic priorities and how to act on them as well as reinforcing CRAs employee value proposition and firm culture
- Own messaging timing and reinforcement of key initiatives across the organization
- Translate complex business priorities into clear actionable communications
2. Execution & Channel Management
- Lead execution of core internal channels including newsletters leadership communications campaigns All Hands and office communications
- Develop and manage the internal editorial calendar ensuring prioritization and sequencing of firmwide messaging
- Standardize formats tone and communication frameworks across all channels
- Oversee production of high-quality written and visual content across internal platforms
3. Transformation & Change Communications
- Embed communications into major firm initiatives (e.g. AI CRM operational changes) to drive adoption and behavior change
- Partner with practice leaders to define communication plans milestones and reinforcement strategies
- Ensure communications are proactive coordinated and tied to measurable outcomes
4. Stakeholder Engagement & Alignment
- Partner with senior leadership Marketing and Human Capital to align messaging and priorities
- Represent the CEOs voice and point of view in firm communications
- Serve as the central point of coordination for firmwide communications requests
- Advise leadership on communication approach tone and risk mitigation
- Build strong relationships across offices and practices to ensure relevance and uptake
5. Governance & Operating Model
- Establish clear ownership and governance of internal communications across the firm
- Transition and integrate work currently handled by external vendors into an in-house model (as applicable)
- Implement processes for intake prioritization and approval of communications
- Ensure consistency and alignment across geographies and teams
6. Measurement & Continuous Improvement
- Define KPIs to measure effectiveness (e.g. engagement reach understanding behavioral impact)
- Track performance of communications and continuously refine strategy
- Gather feedback from employees and leadership to improve clarity and effectiveness
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Journalism English Communications or related area of study;
- 812 years of experience in internal communications corporate communications or marketing communications within a professional services or B2B environment
- Proven ability to lead enterprise-wide communication strategies and transformation programs
- Exceptional writing editing and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex ideas and analysis while retaining sophistication and avoiding jargon
- Strong stakeholder management skills including experience working with senior leadership
- Experience building or scaling communications functions or operating models
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced evolving environment with competing priorities

Work Location Flexibility
CRA creates a work environment that enables our colleagues to benefit from being together in the office to best deliver on our promise of career growth mentorship and inclusivity. At the same time we recognize that individuals realize a range of benefits when working from home periodically. We currently ask that individuals spend 3 to 4 days a week on average working in the office (which may include traveling to another CRA office) with specific days determined in coordination with your practice or team. At certain times of the year (e.g. holiday periods) additional remote work options are offered to those whose work commitments permit it although our offices remain open for those who choose or need to be there.

Salary and other compensation
A good-faith estimate of the annual base salary range for this position is $100000 - $115000. Stating pay within this range may vary based on factors such as education level experience skills geographic location market conditions and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position may be eligible for additional bonus incentive compensation.
