POSITION SUMMARY

The Manager of Inclusive Excellence Serves as a strategic leader responsible for advancing the Colleges commitment to inclusive excellence access servingness and equitable outcomes. This position is responsible for developing lead and implement institution-wide inclusive excellence initiatives programs professional development and best practices that foster student and employee success strengthen community engagement and advance equitable access to resources and opportunities for all stakeholders with particular attention to the needs of historically underrepresented populations including Latinx immigrant refugee and multilingual communities.

This role ensures that initiatives are aligned with the Colleges core values strategic goals and best practices that promote equitable outcomes and continuous improvement.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

with U.S. Department of Education funding as well as private and other public funding.
lead and implement inclusive initiatives and best practices across the institution that support all students employees and community stakeholders with particular attention to the needs of historically underrepresented populations including Latinx immigrant refugee and multilingual communities.
coordinate and deliver campus-wide professional development initiatives focused on cultural competency inclusive excellence access belonging servingness restorative and healing-centered practices and other evidence-based strategies that foster an inclusive and welcoming environment for students employees and community stakeholders.
with campus and community leaders to strengthen awareness engagement and capacity-building efforts that support student and staff success equitable access meaningful community partnerships and a culture of belonging.
logistics for speaker engagements contracts institutional programs and other initiatives aligned with strategic goals.
monitor and report on initiatives aimed at improving institutional access advancement enrollment retention degree completion and equitable outcomes for both students and employees.
budget planning management and reporting activities including monitoring expenditures reconciling budget transactions tracking financial performance preparing reports and ensuring compliance with institutional grant and funding requirements.
confidential matters with discretion in accordance with institutional policies procedures and applicable laws.
and analyze best practices industry standards and data trends to inform program development strategic planning and institutional sustainability.
in community outreach and service through events volunteer efforts resource provision and relationship-building with community-based organizations and local businesses.
other duties as assigned in support of institutional priorities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

degree in social work education business or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in higher education community engagement workforce development social services program management or a related field.
experience developing implementing and assessing programs initiatives or services that support student employee or community success.
ability to lead projects manage budgets monitor expenditures and prepare reports.
written verbal facilitation and interpersonal communication skills.
in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to utilize data reporting and presentation tools.
organized detail-oriented and self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills.
commitment to fostering environments that support belonging access student success employee engagement and community partnership.
to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with other members of the college and community. displaying cultural competence as well as emotional intelligence.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

working with diverse populations.
certification in project management leadership development cultural competency or a related area.
with data analysis tools and student success and institutional effectiveness metrics.
in higher education community colleges grant-funded programs or federally funded initiatives
and Spanish verbal and written communication (Bilingual proficiency).
multicultural competence.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Duties are performed indoors in the usual office and/or outdoor environment.
Occasional attendance at meetings college events and community functions may be required outside of regular business hours.
