Job Summary
Kroll is seeking an experienced leader to manage a Crisis Management and Intelligence Centre (CMIC) embedded within a world-leading financial services client. The CMIC plays a critical role in protecting the clients people offices portfolio companies and investments worldwide by identifying monitoring and responding to a broad range of threats. These include geopolitical developments civil unrest terrorism severe weather natural disasters direct threats to personnel operational disruptions and other emerging risks.
This is a high-profile leadership role overseeing the clients global CMIC with analyst teams based in Boston Singapore and Dublin operating in a follow-the-sun model. The successful candidate will provide formal line management to the regional managers leading these teams while fostering a high-performing collaborative and consistent global operation.
The role carries significant responsibility for senior stakeholder engagement working in close partnership with the client to shape the strategic direction and continued maturity of the CMIC. As the capability evolves the Global Manager will drive continuous improvement ensuring the function remains aligned with the clients changing priorities and is equipped to address emerging risks evolving threats and new business requirements.
We are seeking an exceptional leader with proven experience managing a comparable crisis management intelligence or security operations function. The successful candidate will possess outstanding leadership communication and stakeholder management skills together with a track record of building high-performing teams and delivering strategic improvements in complex client-facing environments.
Note: This position is an in office position.
Day-to-day responsibilities:
Demonstrated experience leading global crisis management and intelligence functions
Proven ability to lead and develop geographically dispersed management teams
Strong executive communication and briefing skills with experience engaging senior leadership
Expertise in crisis management governance escalation frameworks and incident coordination
Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across multiple business functions
Experience establishing and driving global operational standards policies and procedures
Strong program management capabilities including performance metrics reporting and continuous improvement initiatives
Ability to operate effectively in high-pressure environments and manage competing priorities
Must be flexible with working hours to support regular coordination with teams in all regions (Americas EMEA and APAC).
Essential traits:
Preferred
Experience leading enterprise-wide Crisis Management GSOC or intelligence operations programs
Knowledge of Enterprise Security Risk Management principles
Experience in business continuity resilience and emergency management programs
Understanding of geopolitical security and operational risk landscapes
Experience managing vendor relationships and technology roadmaps
Proven track records of organizational transformation and capability development
Experience supporting executive leadership during complex multinational incidents and crises
Experience leading or supporting response and coordination efforts during technology application outages
