Hatch currently has an opening Manager Bus Operations and Service Planningin ourBrooklyn NY position will supportbusoperations and service planningprojects such asBus Rapid Transit(BRT) bus network redesign zero emission transition planningmicrotransit and not required tohave experience in all areas highlighted in is anintermediateposition requiring10years of experience.
The ideal candidate is a motivated results-driven professional interested inoperational planningzero emissions technologies environmental issuesmanaging projectsbuilding business opportunities developing clientrelationshipsand delivering technicalexpertiseand value to our partners and clients. Being capableofworkingwell with other employees or independently as wellasstrong oral and written communication skills when interacting with outside vendors and clients is essential for this position. Candidates should be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines andmaintaininga high levelof quality.
You bring to the role:
BS degree inplanning or other relateddegree.
10years of progressively responsibleengineeringexperience.
Experience working withmajortransit agencies.
Experience completing network redesigns of bus networks.
Experience planning fornewBRT service.
Experience with business development and proposal development for consulting work.
Asthesuccessful candidate you will:
Manage projects relatedbusoperations and service planning.
Providetechnicalexpertiseto supportcross-discipline project teams planningdesigningand implementingbus and paratransitsolutions for our clients.
Complete cost estimates associated withplanned projects.
Serveassubjectmatter expert onbusfleetplanning.
Develop cost estimates and life cycle analyses to assess existing bus operations.
Review technical documents such as design plans and other engineering related deliverables.
Produce quality assurance plans and oversee quality control programs.
Prepare technical documents/reports andpresentto clients project teams etc.
Develop andmaintainproductive working relationships.
Continuous effective communication and relationship building with clients in the development and implementation of projects.

Base Compensation: $130000 - $155000 (Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education experience skillset and/or location)

- Paid Time Away from Work: 3-4 weeks of vacation based on experience and company discretion prorated in the 1st year based on hire date (up to 2.5 weeks can be carried over per year); 10 paid holidays; 10 sick days per calendar year with the ability to carry-over sick time to a maximum of 40 days to be used for future FMLA-qualifying events; Partial Paid Parental leave up to 12 weeks for birth parents and 4 weeks for non-birth parents
