Major Tasks Responsibilities & Key AccountabilitiesLead month-end and year-end close activities ensuring accuracy and adherence to established product costing cost analysis and price variance reporting to support operational and financial manufacturing overhead costs against budget and forecast identifying trends and opportunities for inventory reports variance analyses stock provisions and other inventory-related accounting forecasting and annual budgeting processes in collaboration with the Assistant Financial Controller (AFC) and Financial Controller (FC).Manage intercompany transactions reconciliations and variance analysis fixed asset accounting capitalization depreciation and asset reconciliation cash management activities including bank reconciliations and cash flow and support fiscal year-end closing requirements and financial reporting with internal and external audits ensuring compliance with statutory corporate and regulatory maintain and improve accounting processes controls and reporting with cross-functional departments to provide financial insights and support business duties as assignedMinimum QualificationsBachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field of 6 years of progressive accounting and finance understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).Experience supporting month-end close account reconciliations and financial reporting proficiency in Microsoft pass any drug screens background checks and pre-employment assessments as applicable and in accordance with applicable QualificationsCPA or CMA certification preferred.6-10 years of accounting experience within a manufacturing knowledge of cost accounting inventory accounting and variance working within an ERP system preferably supporting budgeting forecasting and financial planning in a high-growth or start-up manufacturing environment Skills Abilities & CompetenciesStrong analytical critical thinking and problem-solving to analyze complex financial information and communicate findings attention to detail with strong organizational and time management to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing -motivated with the ability to work independently and with minimal interpersonal skills and ability to build collaborative relationships across ability to identify process improvement opportunities and implement effective verbal and written communication with Microsoft Office applications including Excel Word PowerPoint Outlook and to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound professional to accuracy integrity and continuous ConditionsBoth office environment and occasionally manufacturing/factory to noise and temperature RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those required of an employee to perform the essential functions of this job successfully.
