Job Summary
The City of Chanute is accepting applications for the position of Maintenance Worker at the City Landfill. Position is responsible for routine landfill operations maintenance and custodial duties including the operation of various types of small equipment/machinery. Must be in excellent physical condition with ability to perform strenuous manual labor in all types of weather conditions. Starting salary: $18.12 per hour (1st 6 months). Excellent benefit package. Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent and a valid Kansas drivers license.
