Summary
The Maintenance Technician serves as a vital asset within the Real Estate and Property Management sector ensuring the operational integrity and safety of residential and commercial properties. This role is dedicated to performing essential repairs conducting routine inspections and managing unit turnovers to maintain high occupancy rates and resident satisfaction. The position requires a proactive approach to facility upkeep directly supporting the propertys value and the efficiency of management operations through skilled technical execution.
Responsibilities
* Execute comprehensive repair and maintenance tasks across property assets addressing plumbing electrical and HVAC issues promptly.
* Manage the turnover process for vacant units ensuring all repairs are completed and units are prepared for new residents in a timely manner.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and structural problems to identify root causes and implement effective long-term solutions.
* Conduct regular property inspections to assess maintenance needs identify safety hazards and prevent potential equipment failures.
* Coordinate with property management teams to prioritize work orders and ensure all maintenance activities align with operational goals.
Requirements
* Proven experience in property management environments with a strong focus on facility maintenance and repair.
* Demonstrated proficiency in managing unit turnovers including cleaning coordination and final walk-throughs.
* Solid technical ability to troubleshoot a wide range of building systems and resolve complex maintenance issues efficiently.
