Job Summary

This position is responsible for conducting maintenance and repairsat the Central Office and CRF facilities.


Hours: 36 hours per week; Monday - Thursday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and Friday 9:00 am to 1:00 pm

As a Maintenance Technician you will:

  • Manage maintenance repairs and special facility-related project assignments.
  • Manage and coordinate facility-related work in accordance with CRF policies procedures protocols and common practices integrating them into the carrying out of
  • job responsibilities.
  • Obtain all required approvals prior to the onset of work.
  • Provide supervisor with receipts for repair and maintenance supplies in a timely manner notating the receipts with the facility(s) for which they were purchased.
  • Coordinate with supervisor daily on work orders and scheduling of work orders which are written on the supervisors job board.
  • Conduct site inspections of mechanical systems at CRF program locations as necessary; discuss resulting recommendations with Supervisor.

Education:High School diploma/GED required

Additional Qualifications and Skills

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in building and grounds maintenance is required
  • Formalized or apprentice training in trades including but not limited to plumbing electrical HVAC maintenance landscaping and engineering is required
  • A valid California drivers license in good standing personal vehicle and proof of insurance is required to fulfill the essential functions of this position.
  • Proficient computer skills including MS Office
  • Ability to pass criminal/background clearance
