Select Sires Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our production operations team in Plain City Ohio. This position plays a critical role in maintaining troubleshooting repairing and improving facilities equipment and infrastructure that support the production of industry-leading dairy and beef genetics. This position helps ensure safe reliable and efficient operations throughout the organization.

Work Schedule

• Full-time position
• Monday through Friday schedule
• Occasional evening weekend holiday or emergency call-in work may be required
• Work schedules and responsibilities may be adjusted to support production and business needs

What Youll Do

• Perform preventative maintenance on facilities equipment and infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical electrical pneumatic hydraulic and operational issues.
• Support production equipment reliability and performance.
• Complete facility and grounds maintenance activities.
• Maintain maintenance records and documentation.
• Assist with facility improvement and capital projects.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and equipment performance.
• Respond to maintenance requests and production support needs.
• Follow all safety procedures maintenance standards and regulatory requirements.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to:

• Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Bend stoop kneel climb and work in physically demanding environments.
• Lift carry push and pull tools equipment and materials.
• Work indoors and outdoors in varying environmental conditions.
• Safely work around production equipment vehicles and machinery.
