As a member of our maintenance team you will be responsible for the general care and maintenance of assigned areas and equipment. Your day-to-day interactions will vary and no two days are alike. Additional responsibilities for the maintenance team will include semi-skilled maintenance work requiring performance of tasks associated with the electrical plumbing building and mechanical trades.
Schedule:
- Full-time
- 40 hours per week with an on-call rotation schedule and occasional need for overtime
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performing routine maintenance around the buildings for example window door or wall repair
- Use your technical know-how and mechanical aptitude to diagnose and troubleshoot problems and replace or repair parts
- Repairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures
- Maintaining the building HVAC equipment in order to keep climate control in the facility functioning properly
- Applying preventative measures to the building to reduce the risk of future problems
- Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries
- Painting interior and exterior walls
- Ability to use the appropriate tools to troubleshoot diagnose repair or replace
- Assist groundskeeping team as needed
- Proactively perform regular preventive maintenance on machinery equipment and facilities to ensure they are up to standards
- Collecting analyzing and summarizing maintenance-related information and trends to drive efficiencies streamline processes and support business decisions
Education Experience and Skills:
- General maintenance experience (required)
- Plumbing knowledge to address leaks clogs or other drainage problems
- Electrical wiring capabilities to manage problems with the buildings electricity
- Carpentry ability to handle basic repairs around the building
- Interpersonal skills to interact with other team members and clients in a pleasant and professional manner
- Attention to detail to ensure that all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards or warning signs of problems are not overlooked
- Physical stamina to handle a full shift of being active and working on the building
- Ability to work in tight and/or elevated locations (lifts rooftops ladders)
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have a valid drivers license
