Position Summary

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to helpensure that JourneyPures facilities are safe clean and well-functioning for clients staff and visitors. This hands-on role performs a wide variety of maintenance and repair tasks to support a positive welcoming treatment environment.

• Perform general maintenance duties including painting electrical repair wall repair door and window replacement lock replacement telephone repair and plumbing maintenance.

• Handle all maintenance requests and work orders in a timely and professional manner.

• Maintain clean and safe facility grounds including lawn care parking lots driveways trees and shrubs.

• Keep an ongoing list of department and facility maintenance needs and supplies.

• Order and maintain an adequate supply of cleaning supplies towels linens and toiletries.

• Make monthly inspection reports to support quality assurance activities.

• Assist the Facilities Manager with safety and disaster drills when requested.

• Report any safety hazards broken equipment or significant maintenance issues to the Facilities Manager promptly.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

• Experience in general building maintenance repair or a related trade preferred.

• Basic knowledge of plumbing electrical systems and general carpentry.

• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.

• Valid drivers license preferred.

• Reliable punctual and able to work independently.
