Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable Industrial Maintenance Technician to maintain troubleshoot and repair production equipment in a manufacturing environment. This individual will help minimize equipment downtime support daily production operations and ensure machinery operates safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and assist with diagnosing equipment failures.
- Repair or replace worn or damaged components including bearings belts motors and other machine parts.
- Perform basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting within the scope of training and experience.
- Maintain equipment through lubrication adjustments cleaning and routine servicing.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and assist with restoring production operations.
- Use hand tools power tools and maintenance equipment safely.
- Document completed maintenance activities and report recurring equipment issues.
- Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean organized work area.
- Work closely with production personnel and other maintenance team members to support operational goals.
- Previous industrial manufacturing or mechanical maintenance experience preferred.
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems tools and equipment repair.
- Ability to identify equipment problems and assist with troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices and workplace safety procedures.
- Ability to read basic technical instructions and follow written and verbal directions.
- Strong problem-solving skills reliability and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work overtime or flexible shifts as needed.
- Ability to stand walk bend kneel and work around industrial equipment for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move materials or equipment as required with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with typical industrial noise and temperature variations.
