Maintenance Technician Marine Components

Marine Components is seeking a skilled and mechanically inclined Maintenance Technician to maintain troubleshoot repair and improve production equipment and facility systems. This position plays a critical role in supporting safe efficient manufacturing operations by minimizing downtime and ensuring equipment reliability. • Troubleshoot repair and maintain production equipment throughout the facility.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities on machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical electrical pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Respond to production equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance situations.
• Support facility maintenance activities including lighting HVAC plumbing compressed air systems and general building repairs.
• Perform equipment inspections and identify opportunities to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
• Assist with installation relocation modification and startup of production equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records work orders and preventive maintenance documentation.
• Follow all Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and safety requirements while performing maintenance activities.
• Work closely with production engineering and leadership teams to resolve equipment issues.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety quality productivity and equipment performance.
• Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment.
• Participate in after-hours weekend or emergency maintenance activities as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to safely use hand tools power tools and maintenance equipment.
• Basic knowledge of industrial equipment and manufacturing operations.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals schematics and technical documentation.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with electrical pneumatic hydraulic or mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of HVAC plumbing compressed air systems or facility maintenance.
• Welding and fabrication experience.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
