Job Summary
As a Maintenance Technician III you will play a crucial role in supporting the Preventive Maintenance program to ensure optimal operation of production equipment. Your responsibilities include performing routine maintenance tasks inspections and documentation to minimize equipment downtime and maintain a safe efficient work environment. This position is vital for the reliability and longevity of critical manufacturing assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance including cleaning inspection lubrication and filter changes
- Maintain accurate maintenance records using a tablet
- Inspect production equipment and document findings
- Identify and verify worn components per checklist
- Check and top off oil levels; identify and clean up oil leaks
- Replace broken air lines and grease lines
- Grease bearings; clean and lubricate chains
- Change oil filters air filters and belts
- Create work orders for repairs and improvements
- Remove and reinstall guards for equipment inspections
- Adhere to all safety requirements including LOTO procedures and PPE usage
Skills Required
- Mechanical training or experience
- Basic electrical knowledge
- Safety and LOTO training/experience
- Proficient with tablets for record-keeping
- Equipment inspection and documentation
- Ability to identify worn parts and create work orders
- PPE compliance
