Hours: 1st Shift 7:00am 3:30pm (typical). Overtime weekends and holidays may be required.

Position Responsibilities

Under supervision the candidate trains in and performs maintenance requiring multiple technical skills. This would include preventive maintenance diagnosing problems ordering parts and making repairs. Equipment includes Industrial HVAC (heating ventilation air conditioning exhaust fans steam condensate).

• Perform assigned work in area of responsibility which could include one or more of the following trades: electrical mechanical plumbing utilities and metal fabrication. Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on facility and equipment. Complete emergency call-in repairs as required.
• Strategize: Plan and execute PMs repairs and updates to equipment to maintain peak efficiency. Use data to drive decision making and focus on permanent fixes not band-aids.
• Understand and utilize Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) when completing assigned work and paperwork such as work orders SOPs and equipment logbooks. Learn and comply with regulatory requirements such as APHIS VMD & OSHA.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Education and Experience

Youll need to have:

• Highschool diploma or GED required.
• A technical aptitude.

Even better if you have:

• Associate degree in a technical field such as Electro-Mechanical or HVAC.
• Relevant experience in Pharmaceutical or Food Manufacturing.

Technical Skills and Competencies Required

Previous experience or training in any of the following trades: electrical mechanical plumbing utilities are highly valued. Proficiency with HVAC equipment and their operating functions desired.

Troubleshooting skills involving electrical power for control circuits fans motors bearings valves piping steam and condensate principles.

Physical Position Requirements

Our team works in a variety of conditions from laboratories to farm operationsbut everyone needs to:

SAFELY work in an industrial environment using approved procedures i.e. Lockout/tagout confined space line break right to know PPE etc.

Have experience in the use of hand and power toolsit is Maintenance after all.

Occasionally lift up to 50 more.

Work in areas that may be hot cold stinky noisy ultra-clean or require additional PPE. May be exposed to temperature variations prolonged standing or walking.

Valid drivers license may be required.
