Maintenance Technician

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to come join our team! The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting repairing and maintaining manufacturing equipment electrical systems and facility infrastructure. This position requires strong industrial electrical capabilities including hands-on experience with three-phase electrical systems motors controls and production equipment.

The ideal candidate is safety-minded dependable mechanically inclined and comfortable performing physically demanding work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot repair and maintain three-phase electrical systems and industrial manufacturing equipment.
• Install repair and replace motors contactors relays breakers sensors switches transformers and related electrical components.
• Troubleshoot motor controls variable-frequency drives control panels and production equipment.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to improve equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Perform mechanical repairs involving bearings belts chains conveyors pumps fans pneumatic systems and hydraulic equipment.
• Assist with equipment installations facility repairs and continuous-improvement projects.
• Maintain tools work areas and maintenance spaces in a clean and organized condition.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial three-phase electrical systems.
• Ability to safely use a multimeter and other electrical diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics wiring diagrams equipment manuals and mechanical drawings.
• Working knowledge of industrial motors motor controls electrical panels relays contactors sensors and variable-frequency drives.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong safety mindset with an understanding of lockout/tagout electrical hazards machine guarding and required personal protective equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in industrial maintenance electrical systems mechatronics or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Welding and metal-fabrication experience.
• Experience with programmable logic controllers and automated manufacturing equipment.
• Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Experience operating forklifts aerial lifts hoists and other industrial equipment.
• Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial facility.

Physical and Environmental Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to bend kneel climb reach push pull and work from ladders or elevated platforms.
• Ability to work in hot and cold temperatures including outdoor areas.

• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and follow all facility safety requirements.
