About the Opportunity

A globally backed plastics compounding manufacturer in Ravenna OH is adding an experienced Maintenance Technician to its evening shift team. This is a technically demanding role inside a precision industrial environment with long-term operational stability and a strong internal culture built around safety and continuous improvement. What Youll Do

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic systems across the plant floor
  • Maintain and support mixing and extrusion equipment central to the compounding operation
  • Read and interpret electrical mechanical pneumatic hydraulic and automation drawings
  • Execute a wide range of mechanical repairs including conveyors pumps valves and mechanical drives
  • Perform and document all scheduled preventative maintenance and TPM activities
  • Coordinate with external vendors for specialized equipment installation maintenance and repair
  • Enforce and adhere to all safety protocols including Lockout/Tagout permit-to-work and OSHA/NFPA standards
  • Provide on-call support for after-hours and weekend maintenance needs as scheduled
  • Lead or support process improvement initiatives as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor or Engineering Manager
  • Consult Engineering on critical spare parts requirements for new or modified equipment

What Youll Need

  • 35 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of electrical/electronic hydraulic mechanical and pneumatic systems
  • Ability to read and work from multi-discipline technical drawings and schematics
  • Demonstrated LOTO compliance and general OSHA/NFPA regulatory awareness
  • Experience managing or coordinating with outside service vendors
  • Comfort operating in physically demanding environments heights confined spaces elevated platforms and exterior conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on feet for extended periods
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Forklift/tow motor operation experience preferred
  • HVAC troubleshooting welding/fabrication or construction trade experience a plus
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
