What Youll Do

As an Industrial Maintenance Operator youll help keep our facility operating safely efficiently and reliably by maintaining equipment and supporting plant operations.

Responsibilities include:

• Operate and perform basic maintenance on Air-Operated Double Diaphragm (AODD) pumps
• Set up prime and operate electric trash pumps
• Work with industrial valves piping systems and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine equipment inspections
• Maintain a clean organized and safe industrial facility through housekeeping and equipment cleaning
• Read and follow Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Support plant operators and assist with plant operations as needed
• Troubleshoot basic pneumatic hydraulic and industrial pumping equipment
• Promote a safe work environment by following all company safety policies and procedures

What Were Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of Air-Operated Double Diaphragm (AODD) pumps including operation and basic maintenance
• Strong working knowledge of electric trash pumps including setup priming and operation
• Experience working with industrial valves piping systems and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to industrial housekeeping equipment cleanliness and facility upkeep
• Ability to read and understand Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Willingness to learn plant operations and support operators when needed
• Ability to safely lift at least 50 pounds
• Ability to work extended shifts of up to 12 hours when required

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification
• Wheel loader certification or willingness to obtain certification
• Experience troubleshooting pneumatic hydraulic and industrial pumping equipment
• Experience troubleshooting boilers or hot oil heaters
• Previous experience in industrial maintenance manufacturing wastewater chemical processing or heavy industrial operations

Schedule

• Monday-Friday
• 7:00 AM 5:30 PM(including lunch)
• Must arrive approximately15 minutes before the start of the shiftto be ready to begin work at7:00 AM
• Rotating Saturdays as needed
• Occasional extended shifts up to 12 hours
