We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician 2 to join our team on 2nd shift. This position is responsible for maintaining troubleshooting and repairing a variety of industrial machinery and equipment to support safe and efficient operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills experience with PLCs hydraulics pneumatics and mechanical systems and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Perform preventative maintenance (PM) troubleshooting and repairs on a variety of industrial machinery and equipment.

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical PLC hydraulic pneumatic and mechanical systems.

• Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings/prints.

• Assist with welding machining and machine improvement projects as needed.

• Demonstrate safe and proficient use of hand and power tools.

• Maintain accurate communication and provide updates/reports to supervisors and team members.

• Maintain a clean organized and safe work area.

• Follow all safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements.

• Work effectively both independently and as part of a maintenance team.

• Participate in ongoing training and education to support department goals.

• Maintain flexibility to work varying schedules as needed.

• Track annual forklift and boom lift certifications for maintenance technicians.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience OR:

  • Associate degree in Electronics/Electrical with 2 years of related experience; or

  • Military training in a related field with honorable discharge.

• Technical degree or vocational certification in Industrial Maintenance is preferred.

• Strong troubleshooting skills with electrical and mechanical systems.

• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical prints.

• Working knowledge of PLCs hydraulics pneumatics and mechanical equipment.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Must understand and consistently follow LOTO and all safety procedures.

• Must demonstrate proficiency in at least 11 of 20 required maintenance skill sets.
