Join the MercyOne Family! We are looking to hire a Maintenance Tech

The Maintenance Tech Evaluates a variety of functions in the maintenance repair and upkeep of the physical plant grounds and equipment. Supports facilitates and participates in the elder-focused social model of care.

Schedule:

• Full time 1.0 (40 hours per week)
• Evening Shift

General Requirements:

• Must have valid Drivers License.
• Must be able to maintain repair and replace existing utility systems and write up material specifications for projects.
• Mechanical aptitude and proven ability to use hand and power tools to work on ladders at various heights and demonstrate a safety-conscious attitude.
• Ability to operate large vehicles tractors plows and various lawn equipment.
• Must be able to work with limited supervision to complete tasks assigned in a timely manner and have the ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities.
• Ability and willing to work in a variety of environments including office settings classrooms laboratories mechanical rooms service tunnels and outside areas.
• Must be comfortable operating in a shared leadership environment and collaborative team environment including mentoring and sharing knowledge with co-workers and contracted services.
• Ability to respond quickly and appropriately in emergency situations.
• Comfortable using Microsoft office suite including word email mobile communication devices and various internet applications.
• Must be able to test and pass safety competencies and uphold safety procedures consistently.
  
  

Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
