Maintenance Supervisor

Our client a Automotive Manufacturing company is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor for their Wentzville MO location.

Responsibilities:

• The main function of a maintenance supervisor is to establish implement and maintain long-range plans for improvement of maintenance activities and provide technical assistance to the manufacturing departments supported.
• A typical maintenance supervisor is responsible for the effective use of personnel materials and equipment in supporting SPQRC initiatives.
• Key capabilities: General Assembly Supervision Ability to Work with Others High Level Analytical Ability Interpersonal Skills Oral and Written Communication Skills Ability to Read Engineering Drawings Assembly Process Basic Machine Shop Equipment Blueprint Reading Knowledge of Complex Mechanical/Electrical Concepts and Knowledge of Safety Practices and Procedures.
• Business Group: Wentzville Assembly - Body Maintenance / Van Body Operations.
• Specific Responsibility: Maintenance Supervision.
• Providing maintenance supervision within the manufacturing environment.
• The role will focus on supporting equipment reliability and production by troubleshooting equipment issues identifying root causes coordinating corrective actions supporting planned maintenance and helping the plant meet safety quality responsiveness and cost objectives.
• The individual will also provide leadership and support across maintenance activities and work with internal and external teams to resolve issues.
• On-site maintenance supervision supporting manufacturing operations.
• Diagnose equipment issues determine root causes coordinate corrective actions and support planned maintenance.
• Supervise construction/maintenance work employees schedule quality safety budget manpower and timing requirements.
• Work cross-functionally with internal and external teams as needed to resolve problems.
• This role provides hands-on maintenance leadership in manufacturing environment with responsibility for equipment reliability safety quality schedule cost and supervision of a multi-trade workforce.
• It offers exposure to troubleshooting complex mechanical/electrical issues planned maintenance construction and maintenance projects and cross-functional problem solving.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in Engineering or related technical field preferred.
• Skilled-trades training or equivalent technical training.
• Entry-level candidates with a degree will be considered; 10 years of experience is not required but preferred
