Maintenance Supervisor

Pilgrims is looking for a Maintenance Superintendent to supervise and coordinate maintenance activities across the facility. This role ensures optimal equipment performance reliable utility systems and efficient facility operations while leading maintenance teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise maintenance team responsible for repair installation and upkeep of plant equipment facilities and utility systems.
• Plan assign and monitor work schedules to ensure timely and effective completion of maintenance activities.
• Maintain production equipment to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs to ensure consistent execution and equipment reliability.
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues and support team members in problem-solving and technical development.
• Support facility improvements and manage procurement of tools equipment and supplies to drive efficient operations.
• Other duties as assigned.

What Youll Need:

Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelors degree preferred;

Experience: Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in poultry or food manufacturing. Experience with processing equipment and industrial maintenance systems;

Skills: Working knowledge of refrigeration PLCs/electrical systems proficiency in plumbing welding hydraulics pneumatics and mechanical systems strong leadership communication and problem-solving skills basic computer skills and ability to support maintenance systems and ability to become Haz-Mat team qualified.
