South Beach Manor our beautiful memory care facility located in South Beach OR is looking for a Maintenance Technician. If you are interested in learning more about this position please submit your application and a member of our team will be in touch soon!

Job Duties:

• Support safe practices infection control and respect for residents rights;
• Coordinate projects maintenance and upkeep with Administrator/Office Manager and home office;
• Ensure compliance with AHJ.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on including but not limited to mechanical plumbing and electrical systems.
• Respond promptly to requests for assistance relating to maintenance;
• Provide or coordinate routine grounds maintenance
• Assure that all safety equipment is in proper working order
• Provide finish work surface repair painting
• Assist in planning and implementing large projects.
• Document work in the manner required by home office
• Be willing and able to assist in other departments of the community

Schedule:

• Full-Time
• Mon - Fri: 8am - 4:30pm
• On-call as needed

Qualifications and Job Skills:

• Must pass a criminal background check
• Must have a drivers license & pass a motor vehicle record check
• Willing to work nights and weekends as needed for emergencies
• Must follow safety and OSHA regulations
• Must have a working knowledge of building maintenance and upkeep
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Must have a strong commitment to customer service
• Must have computer skills
• Able to lift push and pull 50 pounds routinely
• Able to bend stoop twist kneel reach and climb ladders.
