What You Bring to the Table:

We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic with 35 years of industrial maintenance experience preferably in a recycling manufacturing or heavy-industrial setting. Strong hands-on experience with conveyor systems and related plant equipment is essential. You will inspect maintain troubleshoot and repair conveyors motors gearboxes and supporting mechanical systems to keep the recycling plant running safely and efficiently. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A valid drivers license is required and candidates must pass a drug screen and physical. Welding fabrication and basic electrical or controls experience are pluses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect maintain and repair conveyor systems including belts rollers pulleys bearings motors gearboxes and related components
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly to minimize downtime and keep material-handling equipment running reliably
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on plant equipment according to established schedules
  • Assist with alignment installation and adjustment of conveyor and processing equipment
  • Complete work orders document repairs and report recurring equipment issues to supervisors
  • Follow all safety and environmental procedures including proper lockout/tagout and use of PPE
