Maintenance Mechanic
Job Summary
You will keep production equipment running reliably by performing installation troubleshooting repair and preventive maintenance on manufacturing machinery. You will directly support production teams and work onsite on the 2nd shift (2:30 PM 11:00 PM MondayFriday) in the US/Eastern time zone.
- Install repair and maintain production and manufacturing equipment
- Inspect equipment and perform preventive maintenance per manufacturer specifications
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions and make timely repairs or adjustments
- Follow written instructions sketches and technical documents
- Use hand and power tools to perform maintenance tasks
- Perform work according to established safety procedures and standards
- Operate under direct oversight and support production goals
- Assist with ad hoc duties that support organizational objectives
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 24 years of mechanic experience
- Forklift certification and proficiency moving large equipment
- Completion of a formal training or apprenticeship in mechanical facilities electrical electronic pneumatic or hydraulic systems or equivalent experience
- General knowledge of codes and regulations related to equipment and facilities
- Knowledge of shop math and precision measuring equipment
- Ability to perform physical work including climbing lifting up to 50 pounds balancing and handling materials
- Experience in aerospace mechanics (preferred)
- Experience with vacuum furnaces CNC PLCs and X-Ray equipment
$37.36 - $46.70/hour
