Maintenance Mechanic III, 1st Shift

As a Maintenance Mechanic 3 at Behr you will play a key role in maintaining and optimizing complex equipment and systems across our manufacturing or distribution operations. With advanced troubleshooting skills you will diagnose and resolve mechanical electrical and process-related issues.

Your daily responsibilities will include performing both reactive repairs and proactive preventative maintenance fabricating and modifying components and supporting our team members. You will also maintain accurate records promote safety and contribute to a clean organized and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical electrical and process issues related to automation conveyor systems material handling and motor repairs.

• Use shop equipment (shears brakes and cutting tools) to fabricate and repair components.

• Perform routine maintenance and develop solutions to improve efficiency and prevent recurring issues.

• Maintain accurate records promote safety and contribute to a clean organized work environment.

Requirements of the Role:

• Strong background in industrial maintenance including plumbing mechanical and electrical repairs.

• Proficient in electrical systems mechanical repairs welding and fabrication.

• Skilled in automated and material handling systems and general PC operations.

• Ability to operate a forklift safely (certification is not a requirement)

• A complete high school education whether it be a High School Diploma or GED
