Maintenance Mechanic (Gummy Production) 3rd shift

Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor the 3rd shift Gummy Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for preventive maintenance diagnosis repair and installation of high-volume automated processing equipment. Also responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) that are in effect assuring the quality and quantity of products :Understand the operation set up start up troubleshoot and repair of gummy manufacturing understand and follow job order specifications engineering drawings and/or work ordersInspect equipment to maintain functionality and perform preventative maintenance as required following and executing the preventative maintenance and commission new machinery as well as modify existing equipment as neededMake any necessary mechanical adjustments to machines to optimize productionRepair of manufacturing equipment. This includes problem identification (including interpreting HMI fault codes) referencing technical documentation assessment of material requirements requisition placement and actual for appropriate documentation and record keeping of interventions parts used and maintenance historyProvide guidance to machine operator staffon proper use of equipment and minor troubleshooting to reduce downtimeResponsible for the use and replacement of change partsProvide clear descriptions of equipment issues to team members in a training manner to eliminate future with company policies SOP cGMP and OSHA requirementsReview and follow safety procedures for all workplace organization and cleanliness practices.
