Job Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on all machines & equipment in the plant.
  • Install and move production machines and manufacturing equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair machine malfunctions.
  • Configure troubleshoot and repair equipment and/or controls.
  • Ensure shop equipment and tools are safe to use.
  • Ensure tools and equipment are maintained and in good working order and secured.
  • Responsible for maintaining facilities equipment.
  • Operate maintenance shop equipment and hand tools.
  • Fabricate parts weld cut and install metalwork as needed
  • Assist in training entry level team members.
  • Understand and follow all safety procedures.
  • Maintain housekeeping and 6S standards.
  • Identify quality issues and attain established productivity standards.
  • Understand and adhere to safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform related responsibilities as required or directed.
  • This role is a full-time position within our site where we have a team approach to manufacturing. Timely and Regular attendance is crucial to your success and the safety of the team.
  • There is mandatory overtime associated with the role depending upon the needs of the business because with team-based manufacturing production areas must be manned for worker safety and may continue beyond the end of a scheduled shift or may require additional overtime hours outside of normal shift schedule.
  • The regular hours of the role are 3:00pm - 11:00pm
  • Additional duties as assigned

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associates degree/technical degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems and general knowledge of facilities equipment.
  • 3 5 years practical experience in a related field preferred.
  • Computer skills required.
  • Ability to operate a forklift or other lift equipment as required.
  • Drivers license required if operating company vehicle/truck
  • Ability to read write and interpret documents

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA FMLA and other federal state and local standards including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.ââ
  • Ability to maintain regular punctual attendance consistent with the ADA FMLA and other federal state and local standardsââ
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time squat bend twist and turn as needed to perform the job.ââ
  • Must be able to climb ladders and stairs multiple times throughout the shift.â
  • Must possess good manual and mechanical dexterity to perform job duties.âââ
  • Remove tooling and properly reassemble using basic hand tools.â Basic motor skills are required to perform the necessary mechanical aspects of this job in an efficient manner.â
  • Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds multiple times throughout shift.â
  • Must be able to wear required safety equipment.â
