Maintenance Mechanic 2nd shift

DIRECT HIRE Madison WI

• Pay: $23.00$27.00/hr.
• Shift: 2nd Shift MondayFriday 5:00 PM1:00 AM

• Diagnose and repair electrical faults in three-phase power systems and control circuits to minimize equipment downtime.
• Inspect replace and maintain gaskets and other mechanical components to ensure optimal machine performance and safety.
• Safely climb ladders and access elevated equipment for inspections repairs and installations.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to schedule maintenance activities and respond to emergency repair needs.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and report on equipment status repairs and parts inventory.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulatory requirements while performing maintenance tasks.
• Work overtime as needed to support continuous manufacturing operations and production needs.

• High school diploma or equivalent with completion of an electrical maintenance apprenticeship or technical training program.
• Proven experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing or commercial laundry environment with 24/7 operations.
• Strong knowledge of three-phase electrical systems motor controls and industrial electrical components.
• Experience working with three-phase electrical systems is required.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts; previous certification is helpful but not required. Training and certification are provided.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics wiring diagrams and mechanical blueprints.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods climb ladders lift heavy equipment and work safely in confined spaces.

• Gasket installation and replacement experience.
• Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Experience with conveyor systems and industrial pumps in a manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automated control systems.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems maintenance including gasket replacement and alignment procedures.
• Ability to work flexible hours and overtime to support production needs.
• Basic welding or fabrication skills.
