Job Summary

SUMMARY

The function of the Maintenance Manager is to assist the day-to-day maintenance for the facilities and equipment.

Responsibilities include leadership of the Maintenance Department to complete fueling preventive maintenance troubleshooting and breakdown/repair maintenance.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Work in a safe manner to prevent personal injury and injury to co-workers.

Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance equipment reliability troubleshooting and

downtime reduction.

Manage departmental goals performance metrics and operating budget

Maintain a clean work environment to avoid loss injury and damage.

Close interaction with team members operations and management personnel to provide direction.

Daily reporting of activities.

Handle other duties as assigned.

Provide leadership and training to maintenance supervisors and maintenance team members.

Ensure proper manning for all shifts in your perspective plants.

Ensure documents all infractions and issues regarding safety environmental quality and team members and reporting any issues.

Attend all maintenance meeting and RCA meetings for your assigned plant.

Continually look for opportunities to improve the safety process maintenance activities of your assigned plant.

Communicate clearly and in a way that promotes a positive culture/outcome.

Provide updates to maintenance GSV and supervisors on maintenance issues when the equipment is going to be down for an hour or longer.

Have all weekend work on the work list to review Wednesday at the maintenance meeting at 10am except for emergency work that comes up after the meeting.

Maintenance shop is expected to be clean at the end of shift.

Staying up-to-date on company policies and ability to make good judgment.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Bachelors degree in Engineering Maintenance Operations Management Business or a related

field preferred 4-6 years of related experience may substitute for a degree

Minimum of 5 years of experience in Maintenance Manager Role

Knowledge of safety maintenance practices knowledge of foundry equipment and machinery

Strong interpersonal and communication skills
