Maintenance IPosition Summary:Perform installations troubleshoot issues maintain and repair equipment and fixtures. Equipment assembly pneumatic and hydraulic installation machining and modifying parts equipment debug and safety feature installation. Assist machine and modifying parts equipment debug and safety feature installation. Assist machine operators with mechanical set-up and operation of production Duties and Responsibilities:Trouble-shoot and debug various types of processing and packaging machinesUtilize blueprints sketchesPerform machining and modify parts as needed for repairsOperate a wide variety of machine tools throughout the maintenance shopInstall align rig and erect all types of equipment safelyWeld with MIG TIG Stick and Oxy-acetyleneInstall pneumatic and hydraulic components from schematicsCommunicate with supervisor regarding technical informationPerform building and grounds maintenanceWork using proper Lockout/Tagout procedures to wear proper PPEMaintain good housekeeping and hazard free work area according to safety rules processes and proceduresPerform testing before putting machines and/or equipment into service to ensure safe start-up and operationComplete documentation time records and material logs in CMM systemCoordinates with maintenance personnel to insure smooth shift transitions and communication of cell maintenance needsSupport TPM/CLAIR program and perform preventive maintenance on all machinesPerform corrections and adjustments on machinery and equipment to maintain optimum productivity and qualityIdentify process improvement opportunities and work with associates to evaluate and implement improvements with approval and in coordination with plant supervisorsOther duties as assigned
