Job Description Summary

The Maintenance Generalistis responsible forperforming preventive corrective and predictive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems to ensure safe reliable and efficient plant position supports production in a fresh food manufacturing environment while maintaining compliance with Tyson policies food safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems

Diagnose troubleshoot and repair mechanical electrical pneumatic and hydraulic systems

Respond to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime and restore operations quickly

Complete corrective and emergency maintenance work as assigned

Perform equipment adjustments part replacements and repairs tomaintainoptimalperformance

Follow work orders and document maintenance activities accurately in the CMMS

Assistwith equipment installations upgrades and modifications

Conduct inspections toidentifypotential equipment failures safety hazards or maintenance needs

Work closely with Production and Sanitation to coordinate maintenance activities.

Support sanitation and startup processes following maintenance work

Maintain tools equipment and work areas in a clean and organized condition

Comply withall OSHA USDA food safety and Tyson policies and procedures

Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) PPE and safe work practicesat all times

Participate in continuous improvement and reliability initiatives

Perform other duties as assigned

Skills and Competencies

Working knowledge of mechanical electrical pneumatic and hydraulic systems

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Ability to read and interpret manuals schematics and work orders

Basic computer skills and ability to use CMMS systems

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Strong attention to safety quality and detail

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Demands and Work Requirements

Ability to stand walk climb kneel crouch and work in confined spaces

Ability tolift upto50pounds with or withoutassistance

Ability to work around moving machinery elevated platforms and energized equipment

Ability to work rotating shifts weekends holidays and overtime as needed
