Maintenance Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Coordinator to support plant maintenance operations and serve as a key partner to the Maintenance Manager. This role will lead daily maintenance work management scheduling shutdowns contractors and reliability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance work planning prioritization scheduling and execution.
• Coordinate daily maintenance activities with Operations Engineering Reliability and Procurement.
• Manage maintenance backlog PM/PdM compliance and CMMS records.
• Lead major plant shutdowns outages equipment overhauls and contractor activities.
• Support maintenance budgets cost tracking and contractor management.
• Drive equipment reliability root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide leadership coaching and technical guidance to maintenance teams.
• Ensure compliance with MSHA OSHA environmental and company safety standards.
• Monitor key maintenance KPIs and support operational excellence initiatives.

Qualifications

• 710 years of maintenance experience; cement manufacturing experience highly preferred.
• Bachelors or Associate degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or equivalent Millwright Foreman experience and certifications.
• Strong experience with industrial equipment troubleshooting and plant maintenance.
• Proven experience leading major shutdowns/outages and managing contractors.
• Experience with CMMS systems such as Tabware SAP Oracle or Maximo.
• Strong leadership communication organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with preventive/predictive maintenance reliability and RCFA is preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.
