Job Summary

Role Summary:

  • Manage Maintenance Employees/Contractors and all aspects of repair/preventative maintenance
  • Support plant operations by providing maintenance planning and scheduling to make effective use of company and contractor resources
  • Ensure maintenance activities are completed on time and on budget
  • Manage all aspects of purchasing receiving warehousing and inventory of chemicals expendables and spare parts

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Chemical Expendable and Spare Part inventories purchasing and receiving
  • Work with Operations to coordinate receiving of chemicals
  • Obtain quotes and acquire materials equipment and services
  • Manage Maintenance Employees and Contractors
  • Plan Schedule and Execute Maintenance (PM and Daily) Activities
  • Work with Purchasing and others to issue Purchase Orders perform goods receipt and track budgets

Qualifications :

Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree or higher (two-year college or technical school)
  • Minimum 4-years of maintenance and/or project execution experience preferably in Chemical Manufacturing
  • At least one-year supervisory experience
  • Working knowledge of CMMS and Inventory Management Software

Desired Characteristics:

  • Bachelor Degree or higher
  • Prior experience in a Petroleum or Chemical Manufacturing Plant
  • Ability and willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
  • Knowledge of local contractors and their abilities
  • Knowledge of local and national suppliers of equipment parts and materials
  • Ability to work autonomously

  • Strong customer mindset
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability and willingness to operate a fork truck
