Role Responsibilities

• Lead and execute preventive maintenance programs for mechanical electrical and HVAC systems.

• Manage PLC and control systems for the factory and facility equipment.

• Diagnose and resolve complex equipment and facility issues with minimal supervision.

• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance equipment reliability and energy efficiency.

• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and projects.

• Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

• Support capital projects and facility upgrades including planning and execution.

• Train and mentor junior technicians on best practices and safety procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering Facilities Management or technical field

• 2 years of maintenance or facilities engineering experience in industrial commercial or facility environments

• 1 years of experience with PLC controls mechanical electrical and/or HVAC systems

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints wiring diagrams and technical manuals

• The ability to stand for extended periods of time along with routine lifting of items that typically weigh up to 50 pounds. Must have the ability to bend stoop stand and squat.

Preferred Qualifications

• OSHA 10 certification

• Trade license (e.g. HVAC electrical plumbing depending on jurisdiction)

• Completion of technical school or apprenticeship

• Intermediate troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

• Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)

• Understanding of PLC basics and motor controls

• Forklift scissor lift or aerial work platform certification

• Lockout/Tagout trained

• Physically capable of working in a fast-paced stop-and-go manufacturing environment.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task effectively.

• Alert dependable and safety-focused.

• Previous experience in manufacturing material handling or similar industrial environments.

• Knowledge of parts and materials required for production operations.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to make quick decisions in support of a process-oriented operation.
