Job Summary
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with IBM z/OS Connect Enterprise Edition and API development.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs HTTP methods JSON payloads and OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.
- Experience integrating APIs with CICS COBOL Db2 and IMS applications.
- Ability to understand COBOL copybooks and mainframe data structures for JSON mapping.
- Knowledge of z/OS concepts including RACF/SAF security regions SMF and WLM.
- Experience with API testing and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Design develop and deploy REST APIs using z/OS Connect.
- Configure API mappings between mainframe applications and JSON services.
- Support CICS-based API integrations and troubleshoot issues.
- Collaborate with development and architecture teams on mainframe modernization initiatives.
